MM tractor sales down 10% in December

Mahindra & Mahindra reported 10.46 per cent decline in its total tractor sales in December 2012 at 14,759 units. The company had sold a total of 16,484 tractors in the same month previous year, the company said in a statement.

Domestic tractor sales fell by 10.47 per cent during the month at 13,712 units as against 15,315 units in December 2011, it added. Exports during the month stood at 1,047 units compared to 1,169 units in same month previous year, down 10.44 per cent.
