Govt likely to infuse Rs 200 cr in Scooters India

The government is looking to revive Scooters India and a proposal has been sent to the cabinet, reports CNBC-TV18's sources.

It is learnt that Rs 200 crore is likely to be infused into the company and a cabinet nod is likely in a month.

A part of the funds will be used for capital expenditure and part working capital. Loans worth of Rs 83 crore will be converted into equity.
