Crisis-hit Kingfisher Airlines , which had its operating permit suspended by the country's aviation regulator last month, is yet to file its resumption plan which could affect its plan to resume flights, official sources said today.

If the Vijay Mallya-owned airline, with its operating permit valid till December 31, fails to submit its revival plans to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) soon then revocation of its scheduled operators permit may get delayed, they said.

Citing the airline's failure to run a "safe, efficient and reliable operations", the DGCA had suspended its licence last month.

Kingfisher's engineers and pilots had struck work from September 30 demanding payment of their due salary from March. After the agitating employees failed to budge, the airline management declared a "partial lockout" from October 1 and suspended its entire operations.

Taking a serious note of the airlines' failure to provide safe, efficient and reliable services, the DGCA suspended its scheduled operators permit on October 12. After much deliberations, the employees finally decided to withdraw their 23-day long agitation after management agreed to pay their salaries in instalments.
