The government's push to adopt private-public partnership (PPP) model to boost infrastructure has cheered the sector, which was reeling under economic downturn.
In a post-Budget discussion, Vinayak Chatterjee of Feedback Infrastructure said that after many years the Budget has exceeded his expectations as far as the infra sector is concerned.

"In my view the biggest conceptual intervention for infra this year is actually nothing to do with finances or anything of projects. But it is the Rs 500 crore to create a 21st century institution called the three P (PPP) India. It is a major breakthrough," he said.
Chatterjee feels the Budget has completely reshaped, refashioned and reformatted how PPP is done in the country and should be a lesson to the rest of the world, especially the emerging markets.
