The Income Tax officials carried out the search at the registered office and some factories and also the residence of the whole-time directors of the company from March 11 till the early morning hours of today, the filing added.
Dairy products maker Hatsun Agro Product today said the Income Tax Department conducted the search at its factories and residences of key officials, and it is cooperating with the department.
"The company is submitting the required details sought for and continue to co-operate with the (Income Tax) department," Hatsun Agro said in a filing to the BSE.

The Chennai-based company has nine plants in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. It sells liquid milk under 'Arokya' brand and a range of milk-based products under the brand Hatsun in south India. It also sells ice-creams under Arun and Ibaco brand.
Shares of the company fell by 3.73 per cent to close at Rs 275.10 a piece on the BSE today.

On March 12, 2014, Hatsun Agro Products closed at Rs 276.55, down Rs 9.2, or 3.22 percent. The 52-week high of the share was Rs 325.00 and the 52-week low was Rs 81.00.
The company's trailing 12-month (TTM) EPS was at Rs 7.78 per share as per the quarter ended December 2013. The stock's price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio was 35.55. The latest book value of the company is Rs 12.03 per share. At current value, the price-to-book value of the company is 22.99.
